1. Ramakrishna Beach
Visakhapatnam is a beach city with around 7 different beaches covering different landscapes & views The most popular amongst all is “Ramakrishna Beach” known as “RK beach” for short.
The beautiful beach is much known for its tourist hustle bustle but it is also advised to not swim at this beach, as it can be very dangerous and is said to have claimed lives in the past.
2. Katiki Falls
This waterfall is located very near to “Borra Caves” another famous touristy spot & public use this space for picnics.
It's a Trekkers paradise with a distance of 100 steps and a trek of 2 km with astounding nature around.
50 feet high, it is also safe to enter into water to have a great picnic with family & friends.

Located in the Anantagiri hills area of Vizag these are natural caves of stalactite and stalagmite formations situated at 1400 metres above sea level
These caves are Million years old & are the largest caves in the country with an elevation of 705 metres
The various size formations of limestone along with the natural sunlight dancing along with the dark creates an enigmatic experience
4. Victory at Sea War Memorial
During the Indo Pak war, Visakhapatnam was targeted as it was home to “INS Vikrant”, an Indian aircraft carrier by PNS Gazi, a Pakistani submarine.
But the attempts of the Pakistani army were defeated by the brave sailors of Indian Navy and the Eastern Naval Command resulting in sinking PNS Gazi.
Victory at Sea War Memorial was built in 1996 to honour the brave Indian sailors & Navy.
This stands as a tall & proud monument to celebrate our victory.
5. Lambasingi
Lambasingi is a quaint hamlet nestled in Chintapalli Mandal in the richly forested Araku Valley at an elevation of 1025 m above the sea level.
It is also known as the “Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh” due to the snowfall which happens in this region.
Known for its Apple orchards & Coffee plantations this place offers lots of activities like trekking, camping, rock climbing etc.
6. Itika Pongal Festival
If you are looking for an experience which is off the beat then you should visit Araku valley for the “Itika Pongal” festival which is celebrated in April.
The 'Itika Pongal' festival serves as a perfect occasion to witness the tribal culture of Andhra Pradesh in its purest form when the women of the tribe perform their native dance form, known as 'Dhimsa'.

This beach city due to its lush green valleys & nature is also home to some amazing wildlife.
The Sanctuary houses many rare species of wildlife animals such as panthers, Sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deer, jackal, wild boar and wild dog.
